Having only opened in 2017, Gurty's is a short drive for many Wichitans and an even shorter drive for those already in the Newton area. When you're looking for burgers and shakes in this area, Gurty's is where you should end up.

Their unique sides are another great draw, as I can't think of anywhere else in Kansas that offers both jalepeno poppers and avocado fries. They also fry many other things to accompany your sandwich, like corn nuggets, fried pickle spears, tater tot kegs, and more. It's hard not to order one of everything, that's for sure.

Other than some stellar shakes to choose from, fresh homemade cakes and pies are always a fantastic choice, though we can't promise you'll have any room for them. You may have to resort to using your dessert stomach, but we understand what it's like to fill up at a great Kansas restaurant and still be full hours later.
