We love venturing out into Kansas’s beautiful natural landscapes, but sometimes we overlook some of the simpler places in favor of things that sound less exciting. These giant rocks are almost all spherical, and are concretions left behind by a larger rock that was worn away by time and weather. Now, we have these unique looking rocks that you are welcome to climb all over.

At this beautiful park, there's a hiking trail that takes you to these red rock caves that are oh so smooth to the touch. They're great for climbing up to take good photos, or just enjoying the view.
Castle Rock is a beautiful area, and sort of an appetizer sized portion of the rocks and badlands in the area. It's a beautiful drive, and a great place for a day trip stop.
This gorgeous park is very rocky, and perfect for anyone who loves hiking long distances. It's a tough hike for many, but worth every mile for sure. Rock tunnels, caves, and more await you!
