If you’re not familiar with Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park in Logan County, Kansas, it’s a newer gem in the Kansas state park system. This place is absolutely magical: it’s home to tons of ancient rock formations that look straight out of the streets of ancient Jerusalem. The park is open year-round during daylight hours, and it’s a perfect spot for a long, contemplative stroll. I find there’s nothing better to clear my mind from worries than being out in nature, and this is truly the perfect place for it. There are several great trails at Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park, but one of the best is the aptly-named Life on the Rocks Trail. Check it out:
