We love getting out of the house and city for a while and really just surrounding ourselves with nature. As soon as the sun’s up in the sky, we’re outside ready to go. This trail in Kansas is perfect for soaking up the rays and getting some fresh air again.

For those of you who need breaks from the Kansas sun like I do, the small wooded areas are the perfect place to cool down with a snack if you like to take trails slower.
The trail is open during daylight hours and dogs are not allowed. It's kid friendly and easy on the feet, though it's mostly limestone gravel and bare dirt. Just stay prepared and take any trash you bring back with you when you leave.
