If you are a Kansas native, there is a good chance you are familiar with the Flint Hills town of Council Grove… but have you ever taken the time to actually visit? If you have, you know that the town of just over 2,000 is a true diamond in the rough. If you haven’t, here is what you’re missing:
1. First and foremost, Council Grove and the surrounding area are pretty picturesque.

The former Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway Depot, which was built in 1894, now serves as a church.
