Many historic buildings in Kansas were made of limestone, and this airbnb is no different. If you’ve wanted to sleep inside a piece of history, enjoy the luxury inside of this beautiful old home. It’s well built, and has stood the test of time including the remodel. What do you think of this historic beauty?
Kansans know just how much limestone has been used historically as a building material, and this 1893 home is no different. In downtown Hays, the Buffalo Haus-Rupp Loft is the upstairs apartment available for your stay here in town.
The loft actually has two bedrooms, and a miniature kitchen and bathroom to keep you and your traveling group comfortable. You can sleep a few people in a double and a king!
There is a lot to do in Hays, but the coziness of this room might convince you to enjoy keeping yourself inside. I can imagine spending all day lounging around to read a great book in between town exploration.
When you're not exploring local shopping and dining or the park, you can enjoy the wrap around porch, quick breakfast with farm fresh eggs, antique newspapers, and more.
Though it's on the second floor of an occupied home, the downstairs owners are quiet and a great option for those wanting better access to Hays shopping and more.
It's a picturesque and historic place to stay, that's for sure! If you can handle the stairs up there, this is a beautiful suite to enjoy during your stay.
