This museum of C.W. Parker Carousels holds one of the oldest still-moving carousels in the country, and plenty of pieces from carousels through the ages. They also have ride-able fully operating carousels for you to enjoy on your visit.
9. Museum at Prairiefire - Overland Park
This gorgeous museum is covered in special glass developed by NASA to change color depending on light source and angle, which makes it sparkle and seem to move like a prairie fire would. Inside, it has rotating displays from other museums, including the American Museum of Natural History.
10. Gunfighters Wax Museum - Dodge City
This wax museum is equal parts cool and creepy, with notorious gunfighters from the old west and some other figures placed around to make them look less... creepy.
