Darrell and Marilyn Munch sell 220 pounds of pork every week. There's only about 250 people in town, so the sandwich must be awesome because they keep coming back.

It's the first time in the 14 years of the contest that they've picked a Des Moines restaurant for the #1 spot. Nick's was in competition with 384 other restaurants across Iowa.

Even if you don't feel like eating a tenderloin, this restaurant belongs on your bucket list. The food is amazing, local, and carefully prepared.
