Lansing was designated a National Historic District by the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. The river town is home to many historic buildings like this church - Immaculate Conception Wexford. The beautiful country church named by Irish immigrants in 1851 and is surrounded by a cemetery. The church is one of the oldest active Catholic parishes west of the Mississippi River.
