Summer may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean you have to put away your white wine for the year! Make plans to visit the small town of Peterson, Iowa, and discover one of Iowa’s most fun festivals. Vinestock 2019 is a wine, art, music and food festival held every year in October to help welcome fall to the Hawkeye State.
The tiny town of Peterson, Iowa is home to just around 300 people - but for one weekend in October, thousands descend upon the town to attend an iconic wine and art festival.
Since 2010, the Spencer Radio Group, including MORE 104.9, Newsradio 1240 KICD, 98.9 Chuck FM and Big Country 107.7, have hosted the popular Vinestock Art & Wine Festival.
You might be surprised with just how delicious Iowa wine can be! Several of Iowa's famous vineyards will be offering tastings of their most popular wines. Taste award winning vino and you might come away with a new favorite.
Whether you're looking for a red, white, or blush, you'll find it here. Fruit wines are particularly popular in the Hawkeye State, but you'll find dry varieties here, too.
