There's A Magical Trolley Ride In Iowa That Most People Don't Know About
Are you ready for the ride of a lifetime? Not many people get to ride these old relics, much less drive them!

It's located at 429 Main Ave., Clear Lake.

There's no charge to look around the museum. If you want a speeder ride, it's $6 per person. Handcar rides are $4 per person.

Travel the private rails inside the park on a speeder, old-time handcar, or even a real diesel locomotive.

If you'd like, you can learn how to actually drive the 1952 locomotive. The guide, Stanley, is a terrific teacher with a vast knowledge of this antique machinery.

Even tiny ones.

There's no such thing as blowing the whistle too much.

Proceeds from the park go directly to the reconstruction of an operational Civil War era VT Lyon steam locomotive that's right here at the park.
If you decide to visit Iowa’s own Trolley Park, be sure to bring cash. They don’t take cards or checks. Have you been to Trolley Park? Tell us about it in the comments.
