Ready for a real “Spring Break” in Iowa? Head to Des Moines for the mind-blowing Iowa Flower, Lawn, and Garden Show at the Iowa State Fairgrounds from March 17-19, 2017. There will be over 300 booths featuring Iowa services and products for the garden and home. Need decorating ideas, fencing, or a water garden? You’ll leave inspired, with connections to some of the best vendors in the Midwest.
Stam Greehouses of Oskoloosa and Urbandale will give away hundreds of prizes each day of the show.
The local chapter of the African Violet Society of America will also be on site to answer questions and offer inspiring ideas about raising these gorgeous plants, at home.
Quilted Gardens & Nursery of Des Moines will be giving away prizes at the Iowa Flower Show. This locally owned independent nursery specializes in shrubs, conifers, trees, hostas, and collector perennials.
Hollingsworth Peonies from Maryland, Missouri will also be on site throughout the Iowa Flower Show. Look for some exciting daily prizes from these Peony specialists.
Jerry Kluver, local gardening expert, will be on-site throughout the Iowa Flower, Lawn, & Garden Show. He'll facilitate a series of educational seminars about gardening and landscaping.
Iowa Regional Lily Society will be on site, as well. Chat with their members to find out how you can pre-order new Lily bulb cultivars for your 2017 garden.
