The Midwest is known for being home to family owned restaurants and businesses that have stood the test of time. One small town Iowa restaurant, Chommy’s Bar and Grill, sits in a town with just about 900 people. Iowans travel from all over to dine here, though, because their homestyle food has an amazing reputation for being tasty, fresh, and reminiscent of old-fashioned Midwestern comfort food.
Chommy's Bar and Grill is a small town Iowa restaurant that's been a landmark in Eldon for more than 25 years.
If you're lucky, you'll stop by when they're having a catfish dinner! Nothing says "small town Iowa restaurant" quite like fresh fry, and Chommy's serves up some of the best.
One of their most popular menu items is their Breaded Pork Tenderloin. This is a classic Iowa dish, and you'll love the flavor, texture, and toppings of the one served here.
An overstuffed brisket sandwich piled with homemade cole slaw is sure to hit the spot, and the menu here is filled with similarly tasty dishes that will remind you of your mom's cooking.
