Does your 10-speed have a flat tire? Is the chain on your mountain bike rusty? Is your shifter not shifting? It sounds like time for a beer! You can get everything all fixed up at Ruby’s, a delicious Davenport restaurant that has bike repairs on the menu. Yep, this is a bike shop that sells food and beer and you need to take your bike there, even if you have to push it!
Ruby's is a full-service bike bar staffed by Mark, an able and experienced mechanic. He can fix your ride or help you get a new one!
Ruby's beckons riders with 32 beers on tap, and the offerings are carefully curated. You'll find plenty of options to quench your biking thirst, like Kitty Lime Pie, a Gose Style sour ale produced by BackPocket Brewing and Psuedo Sue, a pale ale made by Toppling Goliath Brewing Company.
Biking can burn a few calories, but Ruby's has you covered. When you get your hands on the menu, flip straight to the "brat & brat burger" section. The signature brat burger is pretty great.
But then again, biking is hard work. You need to keep up your strength! Order the Rodeo Brat Burger - it's made with two hand-pressed house-seasoned brat patties, smoked pulled pork, tossed in house made Ruby's BBQ sauce and topped with cheddar cheese and fried shallots. You'll need both hands!
While Ruby's is the place to go if you're a cyclist, biking is not the only sport people enjoy here. Ruby's sponsors adult co-ed pickleball and volleyball leagues.
Ruby’s is open Tuesday-Sunday in downtown Davenport. If you decide you need to ride a few more miles to work off that Rodeo Brat Burger, check out this scenic Iowa ride.
