If you’re looking for a great camping adventure any time of year, head to Rock Creek State Park. In the summer, it’s a great spot to swim, splash, and fish. In the spring and fall, the hiking trails show off picturesque views. Even in winter, the trails are crowded with cross country skiiers! This enormous and quiet park is one of the best campgrounds in Iowa, so get ready to pitch a tent or park the RV and settle down underneath the stars.
