Are you ready for a vacation? It’s always nice to take a break from the stress of your daily life, but there’s no need to go very far afield to relax and unwind. There’s a unique remodeled barn right here in Iowa where you can spend the night…and it comes with its very own vintage sleeping trailer.
Get away from it all at this restored barn in Ames, Iowa. It's situated on three pretty acres, complete with chickens and barn cats.
On the other side of the wall, the stained glass covers most of the bathroom wall. You'll enjoy a full bath with a copper shower and antique horse tank for bathing.
You'll love all the interesting artwork and knick-knacks, but the most unique feature of this historic barn is the vintage trailer that's parked right in the middle of the space.
It's a sleeping trailer that includes a little dinette and a cozy double bed. There's a small TV and DVD player so you can watch movies while snuggling.
Other entertainment includes a dart board with steel-tip darts, taking naps, watching chickens eating bugs, and playing songs on the piano while singing.
The main living area includes a larger TV with local channels, AppleTV, VHS, and DVD. There's also super fast Wi-Fi and a pull-out couch. The barn accommodates up to four guests.
