I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
What would you do for a good slice of pizza? And we’re not talking just any ordinary pizza, but a pie that’s so mouthwatering you’ll drive out of your way to get one. Well, there’s one off-the-beaten-path eatery in Iowa with some of the best pizzas you’ll ever have. Hungry? Then hit the road and head to Elk Horn where you’ll find Grace on Main.
Welcome to Grace on Main! This restaurant may be off the beaten path for many of you out there, but it's well worth the drive given its delectable menu offerings.
Sure you can order an appetizer like the Caprese bruschetta, a salad, pasta, or a sandwich such as a meatball sandwich (pictured here). But you do not want to miss out on the pizza here.
Pizza at Grace on Main is made from scratch with hand-tossed dough, homemade sauces, and the freshest toppings imaginable. You'll also love the flavor combinations available on the menu or you can certainly create your own.
The sizes available are 10-inch or 14-inch. If you need to eat gluten-free, the 10-inch cauliflower crust is your option.
The menu offers several signature pizzas including one called The Cheeseburger and one called the Luau (order this one if you enjoy pineapple on your pie).
And then there are the classics like cheese, pepperoni, or The Beef Cake with red sauce, mozzarella, and beef. No matter which pie you order, you'll love every bite!
Two types are offered: The Honey pizza with honey cinnamon butter, cinnamon, sugar, powdered sugar, and honey while the S'mores pizza is topped with chocolate, toasted marshmallows, graham cracker crumble, and a chocolate drizzle. Absolutely decadent!
