Starting out as Mabel’s Lunchroom in 1953, its original owner was never planning to run a pizzeria – and certainly not one of Iowa’s best. But today, this Decorah institution is just as packed with hungry customers as it was when it all began. And it’s not hard to see why! These pizzas are both delicious and seriously inventive. The menu has come a long way since the old-school place makes its debut, but it still does the classics just as well as it ever did.
