Davenport, Iowa is home to no less than eight colleges, and those students can work up quite the appetite. So it’s no surprise it’s also home to one of Iowa’s best steakhouses – Mo Brady’s, an old-fashioned chophouse in the heart of the city dishing out big portions at a reasonable price. Come on in and discover why Davenport’s locals are lining up at this temple to beef.
The neon-colored facade of Moe Brady's is like a siren song to the residents of Davenport. Open since 1998, it's associated with one thing - delicious steaks in a club-like atmosphere.
As soon as you set foot inside Mo Brady's dining room, you'll notice the unique atmosphere. From the rustic leather seats to the friendly service, it's like being transported back in time to the 1950s in the best way
But the main attraction, of course, is their flame-grilled steaks. Mo Brady's uses an old-fashioned grill to make sure every piece of beef has that distinctive sear and char.
For the full Mo Brady's experience, though, you'll want to go for the big guns. Their bone-in Tomahawk steak topped with compound butter is the ultimate celebration of beef in Davenport.
Before you go, belly up to Mo Brady's old-fashioned bar for a liquid nightcap. The steakhouse offers a wide selection of wine, spirits, and mixed drinks.
Of course, if you prefer to drink your dessert, the bar is also serving up their signature boozy milkshakes. They're delicious and make great conversation pieces.
