Forget Taco Tuesday — we think that every day is the perfect occasion for Mexican food. Luckily, we have plenty of great Mexican restaurants here in Iowa, and there’s one tiny spot in particular that serves south-of-the-border food to die for. Check out La Regia Taqueria:
La Regia Taqueria got its start as a humble taco truck, and it was so popular that it soon moved into a space right next to its Mexican market. You'll find it at 436 Hwy. 1 West, Iowa City, IA 52246.
As you may have guessed from the restaurant's name, tacos are the specialty here, and they're the tastiest you'll ever try. Made from only the highest-quality, fresh ingredients, every bite is full of flavor.
Once you've tried all the tacos on the menu, you might want to branch out to some of the other specialties. You'll find plenty of burritos, quesadillas, combo plates, and more to choose from.
Can shrimp cocktail fill you with joy? If it's the Cocktail Camaron served here, it sure can. This huge Mexican shrimp cocktail comes with pico de gallo and avocado, and it's truly tasty.
The next time you're in the mood for mouthwatering Mexican fare, head on over to La Regia Taqueria. It's open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
If you’d like to learn more about this tasty taqueria, visit La Regia Taqueria’s website. Follow its Facebook page to see all the latest specials and more mouthwatering photos.
