Spend The Day At This Hot Air Balloon Festival In Iowa For A Uniquely Colorful Experience

All summer long, Iowa’s small towns come alive with festivals and fairs that serve to entertain people from all over. While most of us are familiar with the State Fair, events along the Port of Dubuque, and the plethora of summer music festivals that our towns are starting to prepare for, did you know that Iowa is home to the most exciting hot air balloon festival in the country? The National Balloon Classic is held every summer in Indianola, Iowa. This year, the best Iowa Hot Air Balloon Festival will be held on July 27 – August 4 at Indianola’s Ballooon Classic Field ( 15335 Jewell St, Indianola, IA 50125). If you’ve never attended, you’re in for a real treat!
