When the holiday season ends, many of the lights and festivals of winter go away – but not all of them. The citizens of Davenport refuse to let those January and February blues settle in, and they’re hosting one of the most unique winter festivals in Iowa this January 13th through 15th. Welcome to Icestravaganza, a dazzling festival of ice featuring a collection of the best ice sculptures in Iowa, a live ice-carving competition, a wide array of snacks and vendors, and a stunning light show when the sun goes down. With three days of fun, the upcoming 2023 event is sure to make residents of Davenport and visitors from out of town feel like the festivities never stopped!

Soon, the ice sculptures of Davenport will be hard at work again - creating a stunning display of designs for this year's Icestravaganza.

The designs change every year, but you can expect to see abstract designs, realistic animals, and fantasy creatures populating the festival.

And of course, it wouldn't be a festival without some fun opportunities for photo ops and lasting memories.

One of the biggest events of the festival is the live ice-carving event, where you can see just how much goes into making this happen.
