Iowa is just a few weeks away from Mid-October, where the Fall Foliage is expected to be at its peak! Over the next month or two, head out to any of these gorgeous overlooks in Iowa to see a birds eye view of the Hawkeye state.
1. Pikes Peak State Park
Pikes Peak State Park offers one of the best overlooks in the entire state. Enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the Mississippi River Valley on a crisp fall day.
2. Yellow River State Forest
