Iowa is full of surprises, and this water park tucked away in Waterloo is one that will make your summer epic. Lost Island Waterpark is located at 2225 East Shaulis Road in Waterloo.
This park spans a giant 24 acres, and has an island theme. Trip Advisor named it one of the best water parks in the country. 10 Best named it the second best water park in the nation, as well. There are several major waterslides, a lazy river, kid-friendly area, wave pool, raft rides, and plenty of spots to relax in the shade.
Lost Island Water Park is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year.
The in-season (June-August) hours are 10:30am to 6:30 pm every day. Golf and go kart hours are 2pm until 9pm every day. If weather conditions aren't favorable, the park may close for safety reasons.
This amazing Iowa water park can accommodate groups from 25 to 1,000.

Molokini Crater
This extreme water thrill ride features a 60-foot funnel. Board a 4 person or 2-person raft 75 feet above ground. Shoot through the tunnel going side to side and then crash through a waterfall into the pool.
Tá Katipo
This isn't your normal mat racer water slide. Start in an enclosed flume to gain speed and then drop onto the open topped race lines. This race is timed, so you'll know who was the fastest.
