Odds are that we all had a dinosaur phase as kids – for some of us, it never actually ended! There’s just something thrilling about seeing these massive beasts from millions of years past, especially if our personal favorite is there – mine is the unusual Baryonyx. Many of the best dinosaur exhibits are temporary ones, especially those that recreate the appearance and ecosystem of the massive beasts, rather than simply displaying their bones. That’s the case for Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice, which will be running at the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium in Waterloo’s Grout Museum District starting on May 18 and lasting through September 7, 2024. Part of a larger exhibit exploring the secrets of the prehistoric world, this dinosaur exhibit in Iowa will feature stunning models and interactive activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.
