If you’re anything like the average Iowan, fall is one of the busiest seasons. Not only are you getting ready for the holidays, but back-to-school came on like a whirlwind, and winding down from summer always takes time. Don’t worry, though, there’s still time to get into the fall spirit by going apple picking in Iowa! Visit Deal’s Orchard, where you can still pick fresh from the trees until November 3, 2019.
Deal's Orchard is a family-owned farm that has been the top name in fall fun in Iowa for decades. Visit for some of the best apple picking in Iowa before the season is over.
Picking continues into early November, so there's still time to grab fresh apples right off the trees! Of course, you can always stop by and snag a bag of apples from their market if you don't have time to choose them yourself.
While you're here, make time to play in the barnyard and navigate the 5-acre corn maze. There's so much to do and you'll really get in touch with your rural Iowa roots.
When the winter winds roll in, plan to visit Deal's Orchard for their Christmas barn and winter activities. You'll find something to do here all season long!
