There’s more sparkly Christmas spirit here than you can imagine. This holiday display is about so much more than the lights.
You can see Iowa's Adventureland Park in a whole new way between November 24th and December 30th this year.
Adventureland is in Altoona. Their Jolly Holiday Lights event starts at 5:30 pm each evening. It's closed December 24th and 25th.
Take a 2.5-mile car ride through over 100 breathtaking holiday light displays.
You know it's amazing, because it's approved by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Admission is $20 for each car and $40 for a motor coach, bus, or limo with a capacity of fewer than 25 passengers.
All of the proceeds from the Jolly Holiday Lights event at Adventureland go directly to the Make-A-Wish Iowa fund.
Since opening in 1995, this event has been responsible for granting over 700 wishes to Iowa kids.
This event is run by a great group of volunteers.
You can buy tickets ahead of time at the Make-A-Wish Iowa office, Casey's, or Hy-Vee.
Buying tickets in advance isn't required, though. You can pay at the gates.
You can volunteer for the Jolly Holiday Lights event as a family or as a team building event for your company.
This fun Iowa tradition is a great way to spend an evening with family and friends enjoying the lights and holiday displays.
