Mac ‘n cheese is the ultimate comfort food – its gooey goodness can make even the worst day feel better. If you’re craving some tasty comfort food, you’ll want to head to Cheesy Cow Mac & Cheesery.
When you have a hankering for a big dish of cheesy pasta, head to Cheesy Cow Mac & Cheesery in Bettendorf. This casual eatery opened in December, 2018, and it's already a pretty popular spot.
Cheesy Cow is a family-owned company founded by Beth and Greg Aronson. You're probably familiar with their Coffee Hound drive-through coffee shops. Luckily for us, they've got another passion in addition to coffee - mac 'n cheese.
One of the favorites on the menu is the Buffalo Chix Blue Cheese Mac. The cavatappi noodles are accompanied by buffalo chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, and blue cheese crumbles. It's a flavorful dish that's a far cry from the mac 'n cheese your mom used to serve.
Or, get your mac piled high with protein. The pulled pork mac is drenched in cheddar cheese sauce, then topped with tender, savory pulled pork. Then it's drizzled with Moonshine BBQ sauce and served with two crispies.
Try a spicy version of mac 'n cheese, and get the Southwest Mac with pepper jack mac sauce, chorizo, tortilla strips, salsa, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. It's drizzled with chipotle aioli sauce.
Other menu options include Original Mac, Hot Dog Mac, Jalapeno Popper Mac, Cheeseburger Mac, Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac, Veggie Mac, Loaded Baked Potato Mac, Reuben Mac, and Gluten Free Mac.
If you're looking for some hand-held cheesy goodness, try one of the melts on the menu. There are six grilled cheese sandwiches to choose from, each made with fresh sourdough bread.
