Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Iowa’s got quite a few gorgeous trails, and we have one with beautiful views that you should definitely check out! Palisades-Kepler State Park is a lovely 840-acre park located along the Cedar River in Linn County. It’s loved by fishermen, campers, wildlife photographers, and birdwatchers – if you adore the outdoors, this is the place for you! As you might expect, the park is home to several trails. One that we’re particularly fond of is the Cedar Cliff Trail, an easy 2.1-mile trek that gives you excellent views of the river.
