For decades, the Buffalo Tavern has been known as one of the best bars in eastern Iowa. “The Buff” has been standing since 1900, and though it’s changed hands over the years, the commitment to quality food and community has been one thing that hasn’t changed. Stop in to try what might be the best breaded pork tenderloin in Burlington. You’ll feel like part of the family by the time you walk back out the door.
This historic hole in the wall tavern is a local favorite for a reason! Everything made here is packed with flavor and fresh as can be.
Start off with a pretzel, some wings, or a salad from their appetizer menu - whatever you choose, it's the perfect way to warm you up for the delicious meal ahead.
If you're craving a different kind of pork, their ribs are delicious and packed with flavor, too. You can certainly tell the Buff takes their food seriously!
After you enjoy your oversized tenderloin, gigantic tacos, or burger piled high, you may not have room for dessert! If you do, though, their BigAss Reese’s Peanut Butter Cheesecake is half a pound of sweet eats, topped with their signature Bailey’s Irish Cream Caramel Sauce.
Check out their menu on the Buff’s website, here. Have you tried their BPT? Do you agree that it’s one of the best in the state? Sound off in the comments – we love talkin’ tenderloin!
