If you’re an animal lover in the Hawkeye State, you’ll be thrilled to learn about the only accredited zoo in Iowa! The Blank Park Zoo is located in Des Moines, and you’ll find all sorts of stunning wildlife in this park focused on conservation and education.
The Blank Park Zoo is open every day. In the winter (from October to April), their hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and once the weather warms up (May through September), you can visit the zoo from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for plenty of fun.
