Jefferson County Ciderworks Makes The Best Hard Cider In Iowa

Jefferson County Ciderworks was founded in 2013 by Jesse Narducci and Katie Greenfield, Iowa natives with a taste for cider.

Today, Jefferson County Ciderworks consists of a farm that's home to hundreds of heirloom apple trees and a taproom where drinkers can sample these freshly made ciders.

Six of the ciders are available year round, including OG Apple, Hibiscus Rosé, Dry Hopped, Sour Cherry, and Dry Pineapple.

Their Hibiscus Rosé is one of the most popular, year-round. It's semi-dry and perfect for wine lovers.

Every season, the other half of their lineup changes to match the flavors of the month.

In the summer, you'll find tropical pineapple and lemon lavender added to the list. Both are crisp and refreshing—the perfect way to beat the heat.

Any of their crisp, delicious ciders make for a refreshing drink under the hot summer sun here in the Midwest.

In the fall, flavors like Apple Pie and Cranberry Orange pair perfectly with the crisp, cool air.

Winter's special is Uncle Spruce, which "tastes like holiday". It's aged for months in spruce tips, spices and vanilla.
