As Iowa’s newest outdoor waterpark, Adventure Bay doesn’t disappoint. There are plenty of thrilling slides and lagoons, but it also has Iowa’s largest wave pool and longest lazy river. Located on the edge of Storm Lake, this outdoor waterpark offers sweeping vistas of the lake and the surrounding area. The waterpark itself contains five waterslides, diving boards, lap lanes, and a splash pad for the little ones.

Because the temperatures drop in the winter, many of Iowa’s waterparks can be found indoors. However, most of them are also true resorts, making them a great summer vacation idea. Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark contains 25,000 square feet of water slides, tube slides, water cannons, and activity pools.
