Built in 1912, the Lighthouse is one of the oldest supper clubs in Iowa. Their specialty is fall off the bone BBQ ribs and families have been coming for generations to eat them. The restaurant also has some interesting history, with patrons such as Al Capone and John Dillinger back in the day.
The Townhouse Supper Club is located in the tiny town of Wellsburg, and one of its specialties is a giant pork tenderloin. The sandwich won the 2006 IPPA Best Tenderloin award, so they’re doing something right!
This family owned restaurant has been in business for over 40 years, and they’re serving up delicious classics like prime rib, lobster tail, cod and shrimp, just to name a few. They also have plenty of mouth-watering appetizers like breaded mushrooms and cheese curds.
