Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Hiding in Lebanon, Indiana, is a delightful little hideaway perfect for the warmest time of the year. As the mercury rises, so too does our human desire to cool off, and waterparks are perfect for just such an occasion. There are several waterparks in Indiana, some of which are huge and others of which are fairly small, but they all have something in common: they. Are. FUN. Waterparks are definitely one of my favorite ways to cool off when the need arises and best of all, it’s a fun time for the entire family if you care to bring them, too. Today, let’s take a moment to appreciate the small-but-mighty Seashore Waterpark, which is a perfect way to kill a whole afternoon while enjoying the sunshine.
Seashore Waterpark is one of those places that, once you know it's there, you'll always want to come back... especially when it's cold out (and you can't)!
My personal favorite thing is the absolutely epic waterslides, but you might fancy the lazy river. You'll also discover lily pads, a wave pool, and a beach-entry pool area for the smallest members of your family.

...or perhaps one of the lower-key slides will call your name the loudest. No judgement here; we're all here for the same thing.
Perhaps best of all, admission to Seashore Waterpark is very affordable, especially if you compare it to other much larger, amusement park-style places.
At the time of this writing, pricing for Lebanon residents ranges from $4.00 to $8.00, and pricing for everyone else ranges from $5.00 to $7.00.
Naturally, if you're not a huge fan of getting wet (but you wouldn't mind some time in the sun), no worries: you're free to lounge for as long as you'd like, too - no water entry needed.
And, here's even more good news: this delightful little waterpark in Indiana is open seven days a week, so you can come out whenever (as long as it's during operating hours).
So, seriously - if you've never made a trip out to Lebanon, here's a great reason.
For the most up-to-date hours and information, you’ll definitely want to check out the official Seashore Waterpark website. What are your favorite ways to cool off when it’s hot? Let me know in the comments!
