If you’re anything like we are, you’re always on the lookout for the next best place to sit down and get a good meal. Sometimes, waterfront dining is where it’s at – but how exactly are we supposed to do this from the Midwest? Well, we’re in luck, because there just so happens to be multiple options when it comes to waterfront restaurants in Indiana; we’re blessed with numerous lakes (including the colossal Lake Michigan) that we’re able to cozy right up to and eat beside. Since 1948, Kingfish Restaurant has been a local favorite in both its hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, and the location we're proud to call our own - the Jeffersonville location. Enjoy fun amenities like live music and amazing water views, plus some of the freshest, tastiest seafood you'll ever eat. In this town, Kingfish really is king.
Wolfie's Grill is a delightful local powerhouse of deliciousness with several locations (two of which offer waterside dining and awesome views - the ones in Noblesville and Geist). The menu (and the cocktails) are as excellent as the views! Enjoy a variety of items like traditional bar food, seafood, soups and salads, and more.
This iconic waterfront restaurant in Indianapolis serves up to-die-for steaks, chops, and other high-end indulgences. It sits on beautiful Eagle Creek Reservoir and the meals are as delicious as the views. We strongly recommend a dinner date night at sunset. You will not regret it (well, at least not for your choice in restaurant).
Hidden away in underrated Cicero, Indiana, is the Boathouse and Swan Dive, serving up delicious drink specials, awesome American and bar food fare, seafood, and more. Equal parts restaurant and dive bar, the Boathouse is a great place for friends and/or lovers (or all of the above).
