Few Hoosiers know that there is a unique vintage antique store in Huntington, Indiana that has old-fashioned sodas and ice cream. Take a trip to the past when you walk through these doors.
Whether you like antiques or antique experiences, you’ll find it all at this fabulous shop. Scroll on to learn more.
Downtown Huntington would not be much without Antiqology. When this place opened in 2012, it brought a unique vibe to the town that many locals didn't realize they were missing.
This vintage antique store was started by collectors. After running out of room in their house, they opened a store in Huntington in order to sell their finds. From general store goods to actual vintage items, this place is a paradise of the past.
At the back of the store is something far more unique and interesting, though. The old-fashioned ice cream and soda bar will blow your mind. You'll only find the most classic varieties here like Frostie and Cheerwine.
The store has more than 500 varieties of sodas on hand, making it one of the largest selections in the world. At least 70 are beers, 40 are cream sodas, and 25 of them come in diet.

The owners of Antiqology also purchased the rights to Kolatona Beverage Works, which has been in operation since 1894. This allows them to make their own craft sodas.
You'll find everything from root beer to cream soda to ginger ale here. Cherry, orange, grape, and colas can also be found at this vintage antique store. Make any soda into a float for a true old-fashioned experience.
The hand-dipped ice cream here comes in all your favorite flavors. It is made at a creamery in Michigan before being dished up into sundaes, floats, and malts at this shop.
Specialty ice cream flavors that commemorate the town's history include a peachy apple pie variety named for Nick's Kitchen as well as a cinnamon roll flavor for Johnny’s Drive-In.
In addition to antiques, old-fashioned soda, and hand-dipped ice cream, this shop also sells repurposed and handmade goods. You never know what you'll find on an adventure through this store.
Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Check out the charming store that makes Huntington proud.
