Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Tucked away in the adorable Indiana small town of Fishers is Conner Prairie, a fascinating park with all the nature and history you could ever hope for. At Conner Prairie, you and the family will catch a glimpse of what life in Indiana used to be like in centuries past. But Conner Prairie has another attraction that’s worth a visit all on its own: the nothing-short-of-epic Treetop Outpost is an epic playground in Indiana that neither you – nor the kids – will forget. Come see why it’s one of our favorite places in the Hoosier State!
Conner Prairie is unique in and of itself in the sense that it's one of the only parks of its kind in Indiana.
You and the family will (almost) literally step into the past for an opportunity to see how life was a long time ago - long before any of us came into being.
The first thing you'll notice: the EPIC treehouse.
It's a four-story hub of fun times that you could spend hours exploring and investigating. There are different things to do on each floor, and it really is fun for all ages.

Check out a high-powered magnifying glass to see the world in a new way.
It's designed to closely resemble what an 1800s-era fort would have looked like. You won't find any modern plastic playground stuff here - we do it old-school here!
There are plenty of fun things to do on the playground as well.
As if the treehouse wasn't awesome enough, right? Watch the kiddos dig in the sandbox and look for artifacts and then play with building bricks and make your own mini-fort, or maybe just participate in any number of excellent events and classes going on at the park at any given time. The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination!
Once you're done at the playground, be sure to explore the rest of Conner Prairie, too!
