When compared to some of Fort Wayne's most famous restaurants, Mahnin seems to fall short, if judging on appearance alone. Indulge in authentic Burmese dishes like gang masaman, Burmese noodles, or panang curry.
The outside of Jill's Diner sets the bar pretty low for this restaurant. However, inside you'll find some of the best diner food in the entire state. Catch them at their best by sampling their huge variety of breakfast foods.
Most people who spotted this place from the road wouldn't think twice before passing by. But Barlett's Gourmet Grill is actually an amazing place to grab dinner, with a huge assortment of gourmet items, like duck breast, Vietnamese Bahn-mi, and shrimp or crap cakes. They also have a fantastic beer selection.
This quaint little steakhouse doesn't have an impressive exterior, but that's alright. Locals know that the steak that awaits inside is tender, juicy, and always cooked just right. The interior isn't dressed to impress, but the food sure speaks for itself.
You wouldn't expect to find amazing sushi rolls or Asian dishes behind these doors, but Gimmiya will knock your socks off. When food is this good, you don't need to bother with decor.
This unassuming corner bar looks like nothing more than a place to grab a quick drink and then take off from. But Savage's makes some awesome food, like their sweet potato waffle fries and delicious sandwiches. They also cook up a mean tenderloin, so be sure to give it a try.
This tiny deli may not look like much, but any Indianapolis resident can tell you that Fat Dan's is legendary. What's so great about Fat Dan's? Their amazing wings, mouth watering burgers, and authentic Chicago hot dogs. And that's just a few of the things they're good at.
This place hardly looks occupied from the outside, much less like an actual restaurant. Bertie's has fantastic pizza, appetizers, and sandwiches. Come for the music, stay for the food.
This historic storefront has clearly seen better days, but you'll be cheating yourself one of Indiana's most memorable meals if you don't step inside. You'll find incredible homemade slider burgers, crispy onion rings, amazing curly fries, and some of the best breakfast around.
This tiny burger joint doesn't do much from the outside to invite you in. But it's one of the most packed places in town with inventive burgers, tasty sandwiches, and specialty hot dogs. You'll become a true believer in this restaurant's magic after just one bite.
