Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Ah, yes, it’s summertime once more and it’s definitely in full swing now, wouldn’t you say? Summer in Indiana is typically a really fun time, excellent for anyone who loves the outdoors to get out and enjoy it. It’s also festival season, and believe it or not, there are plenty of awesome festivals in the Hoosier State that are totally worth checking out. Take, for example, the annual Touch of Dutch Festival in Indiana, an annual family fair dedicated to, well, all things Dutch. Taking place on the second Saturday of every August, this wonderful little Dutch festival is a reminder of how important culture and community are.
For more information, including a detailed event schedule, vendor info, and more, be sure to visit the official DeMotte Chamber of Commerce website. Have you ever attended this delightful Dutch festival in the Hoosier State? Tell me about it in the comments (and send photos, of course).
