This Tiny Shop In Indiana Serves Ice Cream To Die For
Indiana has amazing mom and pop shops serving up food that simply can’t be matched by chain restaurants. While we’ve covered a variety of these shops before, there is one tiny restaurant with lines wrapping into the street and sometimes even around the block every weekend. Why? Because this tiny shop in Indiana serves ice cream to die for.

In Central Indiana, in the small town of Greenwood is a tiny ice cream shop that most would drive by without a second thought. That is, if it wasn't for the swarms of people surrounding it!

Mrs. Curl Ice Cream is a local legend for Greenwood residents and out of towners, too! A staple in the small town since the 1960s, Mrs. Curl is the only place most central Indiana residents will go for ice cream.

The lines get pretty ridiculous on weekends, particularly close to closing time, but residents still wait, knowing what lies ahead for them. And at less than a dollar for the cheapest ice cream cone, Mrs. Curl is super affordable.

And oh, the ice cream. With a ridiculous selection of flavors, including flavor bursts (to be mixed with vanilla or chocolate ice cream) like Blue Goo, Pineapple Delight, and Cheesecake, dipped cones, milkshakes and malts, razzles, floats, sundaes, and so much more, you'll never stop at a chain ice cream place again. (Well, maybe in the winter; Mrs. Curl is closed from November - Feb).

They also offer typical ice cream stand foods like fries (wedge, curly, or crazy!), hot dogs, tenderloins, and fried pickles, you can satisfy any craving you have here. They also have a ton of outdoor seating and a small lake and park area off to the side.

If you've never experienced the magic of Mrs. Curl before, you absolutely have to stop in before they close at the end of October. And if there's a line, trust me, your overall experience will make it well worth the wait.
You have to share your own memories at this amazing, legendary ice cream shop! For more summer treats, check out this awesome ice cream list here.
