Sip Drinks While You Play Video Games At Tapper's In Indiana

Let’s face it – sometimes, it’s fun to indulge our inner kid. The best part is, we’re not kids anymore, so that means we can indulge in a bit o’ spirits and whatnot while indulging that inner child. Enter Tapper’s Arcade Bar, a totally epic little spot where you and your friends can grab a drink, sit down, and play some awesome video games straight from your childhood. Tapper’s in Indiana is an excellent reason to get out and have fun, and we can’t wait to go back.
Nestled on Virginia Avenue in Indianapolis is this unassuming bar.
However, after a few moments, you'll begin to pick certain gems from your childhood out of the din. Epic games you could never forget are what Tapper's specializes in. Sometimes, the drinks are almost secondary to the experience.

The selection is incredible; take your pick from dozens and dozens of retro and contemporary games.
The bar currently has more than 60 arcade games, old-school gaming consoles like Nintendo and Sega Genesis, and the largest selection of pinball games in the entire city. There's something for everyone here, no matter one's skill level.
It offers a rotating selection of craft and local beers. According to the bar, it's had more than 1,500 craft beers on tap thus far, with no plans to slow down any time soon.
We really can't think of a whole lot of things that are much better than tapping (see what we did there?) into our childhood nostalgia while sipping an IPA.
Better still, the games are all free to play, as long as you purchase drinks. Seriously! Does it get any more awesome than that? We submit that it does not.
It's important to note that, because Tapper's is a bar, there are no minors under the age of 21 admitted.
This means you should get a babysitter, leave the kiddos at home, and come have an awesome night out with friends, a significant other, or even just by yourself.
Even if you don't come in with friends, you'll probably leave with some new ones.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. And considering just how rad the entire atmosphere is, other patrons around you will be friendly, too!
Tapper’s Arcade Bar is open from Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., Fridays from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturdays from noon to 1 a.m., and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. For the most up-to-date video game lists, drink menus, and more, make sure to check out the official website.
