La Hacienda El Sol (aka Sunset Mexican Restaurant) has only been in business for a few years but it has quickly become one of the best Mexican eateries on the west side of the state. It is known for its daily all-you-can-eat specials, and Tuesday is taco day.
Guests enjoy an elegant interior that still allows for casual dining. There are always some fun seasonal decorations on display to celebrate holidays and Mexican culture.
When it comes to Taco Tuesdays, guests are served their first plate of three tacos with rice and beans. After that, participants can enjoy all the ground beef or chicken tacos their hearts desire.
The price for this all-you-can-eat experience is $7.99 per person. If you'd like a taco with a different sort of meat (i.e. steak, chorizo, roast pork, marinated pork, or beef barbacoa), the cost is extra.
Outside of the Taco Tuesday special, you can order tacos in assorted family platters up to 30 as well as in meal platters served with rice and beans. Tacos come on either corn or flour tortillas and with either onion and cilantro (known as Mexican style) or lettuce and cheese (known as American style).
Other all-you-can-eat specials include enchiladas on Mondays, burritos on Wednesdays, chimichangas on Thursdays, and nachos on Fridays. Other general menu items include soups and salads, fajitas, quesadillas, tamales, tortas, and many other delicious eats.
