This stables restaurant is an old, repurposed horse stable, but the inside is so unbelievably beautiful that you’ll have a hard time believing horses ever slept there. The building's entryway was constructed back in 1890. The stables were removed in the 1920s, and the place was cleaned up and turned into a restaurant. Much of the original woodwork is still in place, giving The Stables restaurant a uniquely historic vibe you won't find in many other eateries.

Stables Steakhouse opened up in 1998, but you wouldn't be the first legendary person to walk through these doors. Many celebrities and politicians have enjoyed a meal here over the years. Rumor has it that even legendary gangster John Dillinger had a meal here from time to time, back before it was The Stables restaurant.

Even the drinks are spectacular, and you'll find that the beverages are as beautiful as they are delicious. The wine selection is to die for, and you can always ask your server for the best pairings. The staff here is very knowledgeable and it truly shows that they love what they do.
