Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.

It’s an adorable, family-owned little general store and restaurant in Indiana, and in it, you’ll find some of the best salads and sandwiches you could ever hope for. Check it out, and remember to come hungry.
Stephenson's General Store was established in 1917, making it a local tradition for more than a century now.
The place got its name from its founder - a Mr. John Ed Stephenson and his sons. They purchased an old hardware store and decided to transform it into something even bigger.
We'd say it was a success. More than 100 years later, Stephenson's General Store is, as it describes itself, a "general store in the fullest sense."
It's filled top-to-bottom with hardware, laundry stuff, knickknacks, collector's items, antiques, and lots more. You can even get some light grocery shopping done here.

But the REAL claim to fame Stephenson's General Store has is its delightful little cafe.
You can find all sorts of tasty things here, from ice cream to soups and highly creative sandwiches - like the above-pictured chicken cordon bleu sandwich...
Stephenson’s General Store is so delightfully mom-and-pop that it doesn’t need an official website, but it does have a Facebook page, where you can keep up with all the latest sales, new additions to the menu, and more. If you like this little place, be sure to check out the Nashville House, one of the best mom and pop shops in Indiana.
