Indiana’s beauty is not a secret; anyone who’s ever been here for more than five minutes (or has been lucky enough to grow up here) knows that this state is full of all sorts of natural wonders. Enter Brown County State Park, which is easily Indiana’s most beautiful state park. Let’s check out one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Indiana, which just so happens to be here at this particular heavenly state park: Trail 8. It’s just under four miles long, and once you’ve conquered it, you’ll want to check out the perfect endcap for a day spent hiking: an awesome local restaurant that’s just a stone’s throw away from the trailhead. It extends eastward from the west lookout, continues to near Hesitation Point, and then meanders southwest to the parking area at Ogle Lake.
You'll also find the trailhead for Trail 7 at the end of this one, so if you so desire, you can continue your adventure.
