The Story Of The Serial Killer Who Terrorized This Small Indiana Town Is Truly Frightening
When you think of a serial killer, you usually think of deadly weapons or maniacal plans, but you rarely picture a serial killer as someone working in a hospital, a place of healing. You’ve probably heard about some of Indiana’s most notorious murderers, but the story of this serial killer who terrorized a small Indiana town between 1993 and 1995 is truly terrifying.

Clinton, Indiana is a small town in Vermillion County with under 5,000 residents. It's the kind of town where people know you by name and where nothing out of the ordinary ever seems to happen.

So when elderly patients began dying rapidly at the former Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton, an investigation was launched and a culprit was found.

It was found that a nurse at the hospital, Orville Lynn Majors, was killing patients by injecting them with epinephrine and potassium chloride. Majors was found guilty of six counts of murder, though many believe he was responsible for the deaths of more than 100 patients over the years. A witness claimed Majors committed these killings because he didn't like the elderly.

Majors was sentenced to 360 years in prison and passed away last September. Though the Angel of Death, as he was dubbed, no longer haunts the hospital in Clinton, his terrifying actions are still felt in this small community.
