Tucked along the river in Jasper, Indiana is a riverside bed & breakfast that is all about hospitality and preserving its history. This wonderful spot is near many great things to do and see, and it’s so cozy that you may never want to leave. Check it out:
River House Bed & Breakfast is situated in southern Indiana in a small city along the historic Patoka River, which flows from Patoka Lake all the way to the Wabash River.
The house itself was built in 1910 in what was known as "Little Kentucky" and is a two-story New Orleans French-style river house that is just as grand today as it was the day it was built.
Several different types of rooms give guests various options for accommodations. Each is fit with moderns amenities like WiFi, AC, satellite TV, and more.
Rooms have king or queen beds, and guests are treated to a continental breakfast each morning that consists of muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, and coffee. Rates run about $120 per night.
History surrounds this riverside bed & breakfast. A replica of the flour mill that was once in use stands across the street from the house for visitors to see.
