Home to about 44,000 residents, this southern Indiana town is known for its art and architecture, yet few Hoosiers even know that it is a proper destination.
Just 45 minutes south of Indianapolis, the town is overflowing with unique statues, gardens, bridges, murals, museums, and so much more that make it ideal for all sorts of occasions and more.
Just going on a walk through the city may make you fell like you're in an outdoor art museum with all its statues, structures, and other features of all shapes, sizes, and colors.
In addition to the individual pieces located throughout the city, of which there are about 70, there are also gardens and museums that provide a full day or weekend of art viewing.
Several tours have been designed to help visitors see all the art in the best ways. There are both self-guided journeys and ones that require tickets, which are led by a guide.
