There’s a hidden little old-school pizzeria in the small town of Huntingburg, Indiana that locals can’t resist, and you won’t be able to either. From the food to the atmosphere, this spot is all about classic American comfort food and modern dining with just a touch of history. Check it out:
The Gaslight Pizza & Grill in southern Indiana has been a pizzeria since the early 1970s, though it opened as the Victory Theater in 1942.
Today, it is a trendy place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. The cozy atmosphere attracts both locals and travelers along I-64 and the state roads through Jasper.
When it comes to the food, the main attraction is definitely the pizza, which comes in many specialty styles. Unique varieties include the shrimp Alfredo, bacon cheeseburger, meat lovers, chicken bacon ranch, and more.
There's much more than pizza to enjoy at this bar & grill. Tenderloin, chicken, catfish, and sirloin sandwiches are available as well as burgers, strombolis, and other sub sandwiches.
The restaurant also serves pasta entrees, chicken seafood, and pork chop dinners, as well as salads, sides, and appetizers like breadsticks, nachos, chicken tenders, cheese fries, much more.
The Gaslight Restaurant is open Monday and Tuesday between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. as well as Wednesday through Sunday between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m., and you can get more details about it on its website or Facebook page.
